A JAPANESE KO IMARI STYLE FOUR PIECE PARCEL GILT SAKE SET, ARTIA, MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912), the palette imitating the original Chinese Kangxi (1662-1722) period famille verte examples, the ball finial topped, in the forms of a domed stylized Imperial crest, over an underglaze blue, wagara style pattern top, issuing a rounded handle with scrolling tendril, flower bloom underglaze decoration, and applied Imperial crest stylized medallions, above a chamfered corner, square base, centering a medallion with wave pattern, and flanked by shaped reserves of a garden scene, together with three gilt rim cups, the exterior with green grounds centering a scrolling lotus motif within stylized moths, ending a fanned motif, the interior with landscape medallion with view of Mt. Fuji, raised on a circular foot, verso underglaze seika nensei Chenghua style marks.
