A TALL ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT BLACK LACQUERED CARVED WOOD PLANT STAND, ATTRIBUTED TO THE LATE QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), with an inset pink marble octagonal top, enclosed by a conforming frame border and stylized gadrooned trim, on a cavetto frieze above a reticulated bombe skirt with nicely detailed blossoming stems, bamboo stalks and fruiting double gourd branches, centering a leafy floral and berried stems ruyi shaped reserve, raised on long similarly decorated cabriole legs ending in double lobed feet, joined by a circular pierced stretcher shelf of interlocking flowering peony branches and lotus surrounding a large bloom, over a ring stretcher continuing flower decoration in shallow relief, height: 53.75", diameter: 20.50". Condition: Over all good condition for antique furniture of this age, use and materials including but not limited to; expected surface wear, normal marks, small scratches and minor chips throughout, small water drop rings on top, small negligible losses, restorations, age cracks and surface buildup throughout.
