A CHINESE JUNYAO BOWL, IN THE YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368) STYLE, the pale blue to lavender ground glaze with aubergine splashes on the exterior and interior of the bowl, glaze pooling in the slightly inverted rim, over a conical form body, raised on a circular foot, height: 3.25", diameter: 7.375". Condition: Crazing throughout, some darkened spots underglaze, bubbles throughout with orange peel texture, glaze almost to foot, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
