Lin has added a special reddish-brown pigment to the ink in the present work to illustrate the effect of the ever-changing mundane world and the Buddhist idea of triviṣa on a man's peaceful mind. 金庸《天龍八部》 香港無線電視一九九七年版主題曲，周華健唱作旋律急遽，如此難唱，偏偏傳唱度偏高，可見越難越愛，人性本然。縱然求六根清淨之經難念，此詞填來容易書時難，難在墨色處理。為求有紅塵斑駁難滅痕跡，在書寫墨汁兌以水墨畫用的「焦茶」色顏料，半攪拌之下，雖成為運筆時的絆腳石，每蘸墨一次，一筆內濃稠稀薄不一，未能操控自如卻有意外之筆；近觀每個字都有一點點色彩變化，一橫或一豎，可以由霜鬢變普洱，箇中曖昧，貪嗔痴念念迴轉之真意，依稀近矣。
