Gold earrings each comprising a rounded hoop with hooked clasp; the hoop is ornamented with a drop-shaped gold plate with a garnet cabochon setting and three rows of pearls cover much of the outside of the hoop. These beautiful items would probably have adorned the ears of Roman noblewoman.
