A Tibetan/Chinese Silk Protecting Cloth with PatchworkTibet, circa 17 century100 cm x 100 cmThis beautiful cloth is made from Chinese silk and brocade arranged in the form of a grid of nine squares. The back is covered with blue cotton cloth. It is used by Tibetan Monks when handling ritual objects during a Tantric service.
