A Silk Thangka Yellow JambhalaTibet, circa 17th - 18th century87 cm x 69 cm This composite thangka is composed of embroideries of Jambhala, Yellow, Sanskrit Pita Jambhala. A Buddhist Wealth Deity with one face and two hands. The right hands hold bijpuraka fruit and the left a mongoose with jewels showering down. Two feet are pressing down on a conch and lotus treasure. Adorned with blue utpala garland and jewel ornaments and wearing a long flowing silk scarf.See Himalayan Art Resources Item No 7552.
