A group of two Chinese blue and white jun chi vases dating from the 16th or 17th century. One features lotus tracery. The other has a pair of dragons chasing a flaming pearl. Dimensions are: the larger jun chi with the dragons measures 8 1/2 inches tall X 6 inches wide, 21.6 cm X 15.2 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is chipping to the spouts of both. Provenance: The dragon jun chi comes with a tag from C.G. Sloans and Co. From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s. High resolution images can be found here.
