A Chinese blue and white square floor vase dating from the early 19th century. It features beast and lingzhi tracery framed by bands of ruyi and stylized leaves. It comes with a certificate from the China National Arts and Crafts Import and Export Company dated to 1980. Dimensions are: 17 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide, 43.2 cm X 15.9 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are significant repairs and overpainting to the mouth. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area.
