A Chinese lidded porcelain stem cup dating from the late 19th century. It is underglazed blue with coral red, green, and gold accents. Both the lid and the body feature bands of lotus and vine tracery, and the base of the cup features a wave border. Dimensions are: 6 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 16.5 cm X 16.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is one minor scratch to the body, but it is in overall good condition. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area.
