A Chinese blue and white wine warmer with colorful accents and a small, brown-glazed jar, both dating from the 19th century. The three-part wine warmer features lotus tracery on all three parts. The finial of the lid is peach-shaped. Dimensions are: the warmer measures 3 1/2 inches tall X 3 inches wide, 8.9 cm X 7.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The lid of the warmer has a chip and a hairline. The cup has chipping. The body is in overall good condition. The jar is in overall good condition. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
