A small Chinese enameled vase with blue underglaze dating from the 19th century. The body depicts lotuses, bamboo, and insects, and the bottom has a 6-character mark. Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 8.9 cm X 5.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are small abrasions to the exterior. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
