A Chinese doucai bowl with chrysanthemum medallions with a 6-character Yongzheng mark but dating to the Republic period. Dimensions are: 1 7/8 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide, 4.8 cm X 10.8 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a firing crack to the base, but it is in overall good condition. Provenance: Comes with a tag from C.G. Sloans and Co. From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
