A Chinese blue and white porcelain censer dating from the 18th century. The round, tripod censer features a landscape scene around its exterior. Dimensions are: 4 3/4 inches tall X 11 inches wide, 12.1 cm X 27.9 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is chipping to the rim. Abrasions throughout. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
