A restrung necklace of Roman beads comprising multiple opaque and transparent sub- spherical, tubular and rectangular glass, glass-paste and stone beads in a variety of colours. The vibrant red beads comprising the centremost portion make this necklace a unique statement piece. Beads were an important part of Roman women's dress.
