拍品形制端庄周正，胎质细腻缜密，釉面莹润如玉。盘心青花双圈内以斗彩绘正面立龙纹；内壁装饰海水鲤鱼纹；外壁呼应盘心，装饰海水波浪纹，波涛滚滚，犹如有一浪卷起千堆雪之气势，极富动感。其纹饰是以青花勾勒轮廓，绿红、彩填充，工艺娴熟、填彩准确。本品最为醒目的是龙身及鲤鱼所用红彩极为浓艳，视觉冲击较大，极属少见，且成对保存，尤为难得。
