拍品为清宫典型陈设用器，为传统大运琢器之一，自乾隆烧至宣统一朝，器型仿良渚文化玉琮而制，故名琮式瓶，两侧对饰象耳，寓有太平有象之意，《清档》称之为“天青四方太平有象瓶”。通体满施霁蓝釉，釉色均匀浓厚，色如蓝宝石，沉静浓厚。形制挺拔，线条简练，端凝敦厚，体量适宜，实为光绪御窑佳品。
