Ca. 1100-1200 AD. An open-type bracelet featuring a prominent central ridge and reinforced edges, giving it a bold and striking appearance. The exterior wall of the bracelet is smooth and adorned with very fine etchings comprising calligraphy and decorative roundels, adding a delicate and intricate touch to the overall design. Jewelry production in the Seljuk era was a highly specialized craft, with skilled artisans using a variety of techniques to create stunning pieces of metalwork. Silver, gold, and other precious metals were used to create a wide range of jewelry, including bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings.
