Ca. 500-300 BC. A stone pendant features an irregularly shaped body with elegant curves and pleasing asymmetry. It is expertly set in a gold pendant enclosing, consisting of two opposing gold caps that encase the stone and provide a secure setting for it. Above the caps are suspension loops, which allow the pendant to be worn on a necklace or other piece of jewelry.
