Ca. 1-100 AD.A terracotta statuette of a standing Bacchus (Greek Dionysus). He is depicted naked, standing atop an architectural plinth with a draped cloak hanging over his right arm. His head is adorned with a vine wreath. Bacchus is the god of the grape harvest, winemaking, and wine, fertility, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, and theatre in ancient religion and myth. Cf.
