Ca. 1050-750 BC.A pottery vessel with a barrel-shaped body pointed at opposite ends with protruding nipples in the centre of a geometric decoration resembling the rings on an archery target. The vessel also features a tall, funnel-shaped neck and a single, strap handle. Barrel-shaped vases were used for storing and transporting liquids, such as olive oil and wine, but they also served as offerings to the dead, since they were often found in graves.
