Ca. 340-320 BC. A beautiful red figure Apulian amphora with a circular, concave base, a short flaring stem, leading into an inverted piriform body, and a funnel-shaped neck with a flat rim. The neck is flanked with two arching strap handles. The main body is covered with two scenes. On one side is Eros seated on a pile of rocks. In his left hand he holds a large pyxis. On the reverse the "Lady of Fashion". The female head is illustrated facing left and adorned with a stephane. There are large palmettes on the sides and the bottom is covered with a wave pattern.
