此瓶为清代官窑传统品种。拍品撇口,长颈,垂腹,圈足。形制周正,造型饱满,稳重大方。外壁通施鳝鱼黄釉,色泽黄润,光素无纹,古意盎然。鳝鱼黄釉是以铁为呈色剂的高温釉,它是清雍正、乾隆时期御窑督陶官唐英的创新之作,其釉呈色稳定,因失透而显庄严、沉稳,窑变形成黄绿变化,亦称厂官釉。唐英《陶成纪事碑》记载厂官釉品种有三:蛇皮绿、鳝鱼黄、黄斑点,后人习称鳝鱼青、鳝鱼黄、茶叶末。从器型、胎土和釉色上看,拍品充分代表了厂官釉的独特魅力。
