清代自康熙始，西方巴洛克与洛可可的艺术风格传入中国，在西风东渐的影响下，繁缛、精致、连续的图案纹样，逐渐成为主流的审美取向，至乾隆朝大盛，并在清晚期完美延续。
本品呈椭圆形，折沿，口沿向下内斜，弧形壁，器型周正，胎质细腻坚致，釉面莹润，底足书以“大清宣统年制”六字三行楷书款。通体纹饰以粉彩绘就，外壁饰以折枝西洋花卉四株，其口与板沿下均以金彩饰弦纹各一周，板沿饰福禄万代纹一周，间有开光内绘“事事如意”"灵仙祝寿"及寿桃纹，寓意吉祥如意。内壁饰百蝶纹，蝴蝶姿态各异，翩翩起舞，寓意“百蝶富贵”、寿至耄耋。内底以矾红饰团龙纹，龙纹清晰，身姿矫健，戏耍宝珠。整体纹饰寓意吉祥，施彩华丽，尽显清宫之审美趣味。
