此玉剑璏形制典型，制式规矩，主体以高浮雕手法，雕饰龙凤，螭龙昂首上视，眉梢上卷，方嘴短鼻，四肢狭长，充满力度，四足攀附于平面之上传神生动。另一端为凤纹，三角形头，形体简洁。整器形制窄长。周身满灰皮红沁，古意盎然。 剑璏是古代装饰在宝剑上的玉饰之一，一般固定在剑鞘鞘身一侧，其上的扁方孔可穿过腰带，使得宝剑剑鞘能够固定在腰间，方便佩戴和取用。剑璏与剑格、剑首、剑珌一起并称为“玉剑具”。
