壶顶内凹，折出一平台，中央挖孔为口。长圆腹，腹壁作瓜棱状。底承圈足，足壁直。上腹部一侧出流，肩颈处出弓形提梁，提梁前端分叉，每叉下端贴附长圆形花片连接壶身；提梁以三股绳纹为一体。釉色白中微闪黄，釉面薄匀温润，光洁明亮。整器造形优美大方，釉色润泽，胎骨细白。全器造型以瓜实为主题，贴饰也均以瓜叶相生相伴，十分具有巧思。 此种造型在北方地区较为流行，是北方窑口一种独特的器物。其寓意吉瑞，因藤上结有许多小瓜，引用为祝颂子孙昌盛，绵延不绝。后又衍生出仕途腾达，夫妇和谐，故常被古人喜好。
