此瓶细长颈，口部略外撇，溜肩，腹下渐收，造型端庄而秀美。饰黑釉，釉不及底，露出米黄色护胎釉，白色胎体。釉色如墨似漆，成色稳定、深邃。胎壁薄而坚致，足平切，刀口利落不拖泥带水。 鹅颈瓶，又称玉壶春瓶，虽素面无纹，但因为瓶式美好可爱，曲线转折自然流畅，成为自宋代至明清人们倍加珍视的瓶式
