此物外壁满施豇豆红釉，红粉娇艳，色泽晶莹剔透，自然洒脱。足心落“大清康熙年制”楷书款，整器胎美釉润，制作精细。 太白尊属康熙朝新创文房名器，因造型酷似李白饮酒之尊而得名，清宫旧称为‘霁红花囊’，属文房花器，为清代康熙御窑典型器物之一，有豇豆红釉、白釉品种，其中又以豇豆红釉最为驰名，耐人寻味。豇豆红釉由于烧造难度极大，故无大件器。
