此白玉炉顶洁白莹润，玉质细腻，镂雕缠枝花卉，雕工极其细腻精致，上画宝鹿灵芝，象征如意，雕工精细，布局繁复，又错落有致，极为富丽。玉质炉顶是明清时期极具时代特色的一种玉作，其在宋元玉器的基础上有所发展，善用重刀，常采用多层透雕法、深凹雕法，层次分明，具有强烈的透视效果。也常用俏色雕法，巧妙地展现动植物纹饰，具有较高的艺术表现力。
