Third Intermediate Period to Late Period, Dynasty XXI - XXX, Ca. 1070-243 BC Composed of opaque white sclerae overlaid with transparent amber irises, framed by vibrant blue brows with extending cosmetic lines. Each eye would have been set into a painted wooden coffin containing a mummy. This would have been found inside the outer stone sarcophagus. For similar see Getty Museum: Accession Number: 2003.154.
