Ca. 100-200 AD A cast bronze oil lamp with a globular body with a deep, channeled spout with a vent hole and flaring finial. Circular discus with raised rings and filling hole. Three attachment loops for chain suspension. The lamp sits upon a concave base. Size: L:150mm / W:90mm ; 550g Provenance: Property of a London Ancient Art Gallery; formerly in the famous Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; acquired between early 1960s to 1990s.
