Roman Period, Ca. 100 AD Lovely face mask of plaster or stucco over linen; with handsome features painted in yellow and reddish pigments, the eyes and lashes in black pigment. The wig in raised molded relief design to simulate the hair. Nice calcite deposits remaining. Some minor repair to wig.
