底款：葵生 葵生 名棟、字葵生，嘉慶至道光年間人，住揚州埂子街達士巷古榆書屋，曾捐江都監生，道光庚戌年卒，清代漆砂硯製作大家。據 《續纂揚州府志》載：“盧棟……善製漆器，漆砂硯尤見重 時。”汪鋆《揚州畫苑錄》卷二記盧葵生：“先生為人醇謹 謙恭，不苟言笑。顧千里《漆砂硯記》寫盧葵生除漆玩“能 世其家”外，“尤擅六法，優能入品，交遊多文學之士”， 說盧葵生“異日必更值米芾，高似孫之倫，或以史，或以 箋，表而章之，大顯於世”。
