清水公照（1911-1999）本名清水睦治，出身於兵庫縣曾左村，現姫路市。為日本華嚴宗的僧侶，擔任東大寺別當、華嚴宗管長，從事大佛殿昭和大修理。日本國寶級藝術家、東大寺高僧。以獨特品味的書畫和陶瓷工藝聞名於世。1963年左右開始製作被稱為泥土佛的獨一無二的小型佛像，故有泥佛庵的稱號，且有「今良寛」的別稱。 來歷：清水公照舊藏
