A pair of Chinese round cloisonne boxes dating from the 19th century. Both feature a blue ground with Buddhist cross meander and insect and flower motifs throughout. The rims are decorated with ruyi bands. The interiors are blue, and the bottoms are a specked indigo color. Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches in diameter, 10.2 cm X 21.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both with loss to the enamel on the interior. One with loss to the enamel around the foot. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
