炉作狮耳簋式，口沿平侈，收颈鼓腹，圈足微外撇。整器造型凝重典雅，铜质锻造密实细腻，抚之绵滑丝绒。整器形神俱佳，皮色旬美，其色熠熠，蕴光其里。双耳为狮钮，额头高耸，双眉宽厚，双目圆睁，毛发细密卷曲，呈螺髻形状，整体狰狞威武，貌甚奇古。此器通体色呈藏经，铜质精纯细腻，包浆自然醇厚，皮色熟旧，茶墨中和，颇具古朴沧桑之气，殊为难得。炉身线条流畅优美，观久不厌，尽显简约之大美。圈足内开框“大明宣德年制”六字篆书款。字体清晰有力，款字结体苍秀，深得金石韵味。款字规矩古拙，开阖大气。
