自在观音又名观自在菩萨意为观世界形能自在无碍，对苦恼众生能自在拔苦与乐。“自在”二字完美诠释了自在观音的形体美，一改佛教造像直立或端坐的成规，以更为生动和世俗话的自在坐姿展现体态与线条的美感。此尊自在观音，双目低垂，面相祥和，高发髻，袒上身，饰璎珞及臂钏，左肩披羊皮。双足结转轮王坐，左足深屈于内，右足直立，左手持白莲于左股之后撑莲座边，右手持佛珠，曲肱而安置于右膝上。身姿略倾斜，右舒坐，稍倾于左方，姿态自然优美。
