The watches were nicknamed "Jean Claude Killy" after the three-time Olympic champion was reportedly seen wearing a Reference 6036. Unlike its predecessors, the 6036 features a three-part case as well as the patented 'Twinlock' double seal crown designed to be impermeable to dust and water even when the crown was unscrewed. It is estimated that only a few hundred of this model were ever made.
