Of round plaque, carved from a single piece of fine Chinese spinach-green jade, decoration on both sides, deftly carved with various levels of relief portraying elderly sages figurines and pavilions among pine and wisteria trees in a misty mountain landscape. Verso with alternately showing shallow carving of waterside mountain panoramic landscape in gilt. Elegantly displayed with an open-carved hardwood stand formed by two thick scrolled feet, from which rise crescent posts flanked on either side. The jade showing dark-green iridescent and sporadic grayish-green hues of natural inclusions, finely polished and masterly craftsmanship.
