A Chinese blue and white export charger dating from the 18th century. The interior has fans and flowers surrounding a central roundel with bamboo, flowers, and a vase with a bouquet. The exterior features two fruit motifs. Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 14 inches wide, 3.8 cm X 35.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is chipping to the foot and a large hairline to the rim. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area.
