A group of 6 Chinese blue and white porcelain cups and dishes dating from the 18th to 19th century. The group includes: one large dragon cup with a 4-character mark, four small dragon cups with 2-character marks, and one dragon dish with tall walls with a 1-character mark. Dimensions are: the large cup measures 2 1/4 inches tall X 3 1/8 inches wide, 5.7 cm X 7.9 cm, while the dish measures 1 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 3.2 cm X 11.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The large cup has three chips and one hairline to the rim. The four small cups all have chips to the rims. The dish has an area of repair. Provenance: The lot includes a tag from CG Sloans and Co. From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area.
