An Imperial Chinese blue and white bowl with a 6-character mark of Guangxu and of the period. The exterior features cranes, ruyi clouds, and bagua over a wave and rock motif. The interior has the wave motif. Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 6 3/4 inches wide, 8.9 cm X 17.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
