A Chinese powder blue porcelain vase dating from the Republic period with a wooden stand. It features a pair of guardian lion head handles with engaged rings. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 8 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 20.3 cm X 11.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a glaze skip to the rim, but it is in overall good condition. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area.
