字茮原，齋名靈漚館。1925生於安徽歙縣岩寺鎮豐溪水畔。著名書畫、篆刻家，中國書畫研究學者，曾任臺北國立故宮博物院副院長兼書畫處處長。童年由雙親教導讀書習字，並由四舅父帶著去謁見黃賓虹。1949年間，渡海來台後擔任中學教師，次年投書溥心畬先生求錄為弟子，獲覆書後始謁溥心畬先生於台北，從其研習詩文。 埔裡（白）、江兆申印（白）、柇園翰墨（朱）。 春星到心涯、玉宇河漢酒。
