歐豪年，生於廣東湛江吳川。當今臺灣畫壇第一人。十七歲師從嶺南畫派巨擘趙少昂，力學精研，卓然自成大家，其繪畫題材兼善畫花鳥、山水、人物、畜獸，對書法與詩文亦多有研究，藝術成就多元而豐富。二十歲左右即參加東南亞巡迴展，往後數十年不斷應邀在海外各地展出，備受國際藝壇之肯定與推崇，並於一九九三年榮膺法國國家美術學會巴黎大宮博物館雙年展特獎。 歐豪年（白）。
