Dimensions; Jade Height: 7 7/8" Width: 2 7/8" Weight: 504g PROVENANCE: Private (Estate) collections of Anna Adeline (Anne Adeline) Haddrall (1929-2018), by inheritance. Anne Adele Haddrall was born in Perth County, Canada. Moved to Toronto as a teenager and raised her family in Stratford There she established the Haddrall School of Highland Dancing sharing her love of dance with students all over Stratford. In the late 1980s, she traveled worldwide to learn and share her experience. Mrs. Anne toured Europe and collected English secretaries, French demi-lunes and crystal girandoles along with highly collectible Chinese articles. Her collection grew and filled her home with many highly collectable . Items sold at auction will towards her designated charities. The stunning vase has a square body with flared open mouth and a tapered foot. It's carved with a set of four flanges. The mid-section is finely carved with archaic patterns, taotie masks, and other auspicious symbols. The trumpet neck has four large lappets rising towards the flared rim. Each section of the neck is decorated with repeated geometrical patterns. The composition is sophisticated, the grayish-celadon Jade colors.
