Description

Thomas Pace Jr The pointed arched case with ball finials and side ring handles on foliate bosses over architectural side sound frets, on a plinth base and ball feet, the 7.75 inch signed painted Roman dial framed by inlaid brass scroll work, the footed and shouldered plates united by four rare vase-shaped pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell, with trip repeat facility. Running and striking, with two case keys and a winding key. 50cms (19.5ins) high.
