He is dressed in fine robes with decorative rim and wearing pointy shoes. In his right hand he is holding a small bowl in his lap, his left hand is ringing a ghanta. A khatvanga, a studded club and ritual staff, is placed on his shoulder and distinguishes Padmasambhava. The face is very delicate with strong features and an intense gaze. He is wearing a pointed hat and big round pendulums adorn the ears.
