VASUDHARA Bronze Nepal 15th century Dimensions: Height 15 cm ; Wide 10 cm ; Depth 9 cm Weight: 1308 grams The Bodhisattva of fertility and abundance, Vasudhara sits in royal ease pose on a lotus throne, her right foot supported by a smaller lotus petal. She has four arms, three of them are holding a lotus flower, a rosary and a gemstone while one right hand is gently placed on the knee. A pleated dhoti covers her legs, her breasts are exposed and decorate with necklaces, she is wearing armlets and bracelets, big round earrings and a five-pointed tiara with a central top. Vasudhara can be identified by her abundance of jewellery.
