TANTRIC GANESHA Bronze Nepal 18th century Dimensions: Height 20 cm without base Weight 1788 grams with base A tantric Ganesha with ten arms standing on a plinth in front of a flower-shaped aureole. A snake is hanging down from the shoulders and Ganesha is wearing a short dhoti with pattern. Between his feet we see his vehicle, the mouse. He is also wearing a five-pointed tiara, the trunk is lifted to the right side. One arm at the lowest is showing the varada mudra, the other is simply lowered. Eight arms are holding attributes, like a radish, a battle axe, a tusk, a bow and others.
